Mission Statement

Our mission at Al Murooj School , is to graduate students who have the ability to pursue their studies in an English speaking environment . They will be able to express a mastery of English , Mathematics , Science and Computer studies at the relevant levels .

We also believe in providing an educational programme that will assist our students to grow physically , that they may lead a happy and prosperous life and become active participants in their societies .

To achieve this mission a wide variety of instructional principles will be used including those which :

  • Involve the active participation of the students individually in small groups and in class activities
  • Challenge the students to think and to understand
  • Emphasize the relevance of materials presented
  • Reinforce learning through the use of a variety of audio visual equipment , science , computer and language laboratories and appropriate concrete materials
  • Motivate the students to assume more accountability for their learning
  • Encourage the integration of subjects where appropriate
  • Use frequent diagnostic formative testing as well as formal evaluations

We also recognize the fact that merely acquring academic knowledge is of little use and that student should be capable of putting their knowledge into practice if they are to be successful in today's highly competetive world .

It is this realisation on the part of our faculty members that made it possible to adopt novel and innovative methods, thus making the whole process of learning and teaching an enjoyable one .

We believe that students learn best if they are happy, relaxed and comfortable. We also know that each student has different needs and we try to be as flexible and varied as possible. We work hard to make a good learning atmosphere for all ages and nationalities.
